Seth Godin is a leading thinker who has written and spoken extensively about the digitization of our society. In his recent work Tribes: We Need You To Lead Us, Godin explores the dynamic and sometimes polarizing relationship that exists between work & play (among other things).
The digital frontier isn’t immune to confusion about the relationship between work and play. While we can admit that technology has helped humankind develop and advance in so many ways, we can also see the negative effects of overuse, misuse and abuse of technology as well (see 40 year old basement dweller who moonlights as an online gamer and still lives at his parents house).
